Ivermectin becomes Over-The-Counter
March 18th, 2025, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders officially signed Senate Bill 189 into law, granting approval for the sale and purchase of Ivermectin for Human Use to be sold over-the-counter (OTC), without the oversight of a medical professional, in Arkansas.
Joining Arkansas is a list of 12 more States filing bills to make Ivermectin OTC, including Minnesota, Tennessee, Missouri, West Virginia, Texas, Kentucky, South Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Idaho and Alabama.

A group of researchers in Mexico studied Ivermectin's more than 12 mechanisms of action on the proliferate pathways, that promote cancer growth and cancer replication, so it will attack cancer cells in their proliferative state.
It will cause cell cycle arrest, it will stimulate apoptosis of cancer cells by a number of different mechanisms and, very important to note, Apoptosis is programmed cell death.
Researchers had noted that Ivermectin kills cancer cells and kills them quite efficiently, in some cases more efficiently than chemotherapy does.
Ivermectin was compared against 28 different cancers and all of them responded to Ivermectin to various degrees, some better than others.
Ivermectin seems able to recognize cancer cells which sets into motion the molecular mechanisms that lead to cancer cell death.
Dr. Thomas Seyfried explains "Why would a parasite medication be effective in killing cancer?"
His answer is "Because the parasite and cancer cell use a common pathway; the Glutaminolysis pathway which is a substrate level phosphorylation in the mitochondria".
